Legislative Forums – Jan. 30 thru Feb. 7

During the legislative session, legislators hold public forums in communities statewide. These meetings are an easy way to hear directly from lawmakers and make sure agriculture, energy, and rural voices are part of the conversation. ACA is encouraging members and supporters of carbon capture and sequestration to attend these events and let lawmakers know that:

  • Agriculture needs certainty, not stop-and-start policy.

  • Economic development decisions affect real people and real communities.

  • Innovation in energy and fuels is essential to keeping Iowa competitive.

You do not need to be an expert or have talking points memorized. Simply sharing how current policies affect your operation, your job, or your town is enough.

Below is a list of upcoming legislative forums.
