Dakota Ethanol Joins American Carbon Alliance

URBANDALE, Iowa (June 10, 2024) – The American Carbon Alliance (ACA) announced its most recent member today, Dakota Ethanol. To date, this marks 28 ethanol plants and 11 companies that have joined the ACA.

 

Dakota Ethanol, located in Wentworth, South Dakota, produces 90 million gallons of ethanol annually and corn distillers oil and distillers grains.

“We recognize the future for American ethanol is new and expanding markets like Sustainable Aviation Fuel,” said Scott Mundt, CEO of Dakota Ethanol. “We look forward to our partnership with the American Carbon Alliance to promote a robust U.S. agricultural sector by implementing carbon capture and storage initiatives.”

 

Dakota Ethanol joins other ethanol plants and several state Corn Grower Associations, Growth Energy, Renewable Fuels Association, the American Coalition for Ethanol, the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association, the Iowa Corn Growers Association, the Renew Kansas Biofuels Association, and the North and South Dakota Ethanol Producers Associations as members of the American Carbon Alliance.
