Marquis Carbon Capture Joins American Carbon Alliance

URBANDALE, Iowa (Sept. 9, 2024) – Today, the American Carbon Alliance (ACA) announced that Marquis Carbon Capture has joined the alliance.

 

Headquartered in Hennepin, Illinois, Marquis Carbon Capture is renowned for its long-standing expertise in producing and marketing low-carbon feed and fuel solutions. Marquis operates the largest dry-mill ethanol biorefinery in the world, with a current capacity exceeding 395 million gallons of ethanol per year. Furthermore, Marquis has a pending Class XI application with the U.S. EPA for a permit to capture biogenic carbon at their biorefinery and sequester it on-site. Marquis has plans to construct a Sustainable Aviation Fuel plant at the same location.
