House Ways and Means Field Hearing on Tax Policy

In August, the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee held a field hearing on tax policy at the Iowa State Fair. It was a great opportunity for these elected officials to actually go to the heartland to hear directly how policies enacted in Washington, D.C., affect Iowa farmers, producers, and the entire agriculture community.

We’re grateful for Congressman Randy Feenstra (IA-04), member of the House Ways and Means Committee, and his work bringing the committee hearing to Iowa. Rep. Feenstra spent some time discussing the benefits of the 45Z tax credit and the effects this policy and carbon capture and sequestration have on Main Street economies across the country.
