Overwhelming Majority of Voters Support Carbon Capture and Storage Technology

Recent polling released by the Better Regulation Project found that voters are concerned about excess CO2 in the atmosphere and they overwhelmingly support carbon capture and sequestration technologies.

The survey was conducted in February 2024 and found that support for CCS is bipartisan.

Additionally, voters support taking action on reducing CO2 emissions, both in terms of businesses reducing CO2 emissions as well as the federal government taking action to reduce the emissions.

Voters are concerned about excess carbon in the atmosphere by a margin of 84% to 16%.
